Once upon a time in a land far, far away, a couple of dreamers, Peter and Elisabeth Mayer made the long voyage from Germany with their son Helmut. On arrival to Geelong Australia, Peter and Helmut supplemented day jobs with the creation of  garden Gnomes and Fairy Tale characters. The clay figures became popular among the local neighbourhood and Peter decided to find a place that he could display a collection for the public to enjoy and thus, Fairy Park was born. To this day the park continues to delight, excite and educate young children through the art of traditional storytelling, just as Peter and Elisabeth first set out to do.
