How does entry work?

Entry is paid from your car.
You may then proceed to drive up to the picnic and car park areas.

Are the Fairy Tale displays free to operate?

Yes, simply push a button and watch them come to life.

How long does it take to see everything?

We recommend spending 2-3 hours. However, if you’re on a tight
schedule then allow 90 minutes.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your dog so long as you keep it on a leash at all times. Dogs may not enter the Playground area or food service areas. Guide dogs accepted. No cat’s allowed, sorry.

Are there any fees or restrictions for filming?

Cameras, phones and video recording devices: no restrictions, as long as they are for private not commercial use and you stay on the footpaths and not step beyond any fences. In the interests of your enjoyment of the Park and for safety reasons, Drones are strictly forbidden.

What should I wear?

Comfortable footwear. Hats and sunscreen on warmer days.

Is there food available?

If you are coming on a weekend, public or school holiday, yes. During regular weekday Fridays, best to bring your own.

Kiosk for Ice Creams, coffee & souvenirs open every day during Vic. school holidays, public holidays and weekends (closed Xmas Day).

Is it suitable for a pram or wheelchair?

The paths are fully paved with no steps for easy access. Prams are able to navigate to all parts of the park. You will need to bring your own muscle power though! With wheelchairs, although some people do manage to get around the park with the help of friends we don’t recommend it. We are on a hill which can get steep towards the top areas. The paved car park area, picnic grounds, playground and all the facilities are on a similar level to each other and are a lot easier to navigate in a wheelchair.

Do you hire prams or wheelchairs?

As we do not recommend wheelchair use, we don’t have the facilities on offer.
