Take the first Werribee exit marked C109 and follow this road through to the Werribee Racecourse. Along the Racecourse runs Bulban Rd. Spelt B-U-L-B-A-N. Follow Bulban Road to the end and follow the Fairy Park signposts at each intersection. > Click here to download and print out a map of these directions If you’d like to avoid the back roads and don’t mind an extra 10 to15minutes drive time then you can take the Avalon Airport exit from the M1 Freeway and turn right onto beach road, crossing back over the Freeway. Left onto Old Melbourne Road then right onto Mcintyres Road following the signs to Barwon Prison. Cross the railway lines and turn left at the intersection. A few meters on, turn right into Windermere Road. Follow to the end turning right onto Bacchus Marsh Road. Passing the prison, take the next left onto Carrs Road. Follow to the end and turn right onto the Ballan Road. Drive straight on where Fairy Park is situated 2km’s after the township of Anakie. If you miss the turn off to Avalon airport, don’t worry, you can continue on to the Geelong Ring Road and take the Anakie Road exit and simply follow it through to Anakie itself. Directions from Geelong & the West Coast Fairy Park is approximately a 25 minute drive from central Geelong. The Surf Coast is 45-90 minutes depending on where you are. From the M1 take the Midland Highway turnoff marked A300 and follow it out of Geelong. Once you reach the 80 kilometre speed zone prepare to turn right onto the Geelong-Ballan Road. Follow this road through Anakie until you reach Fairy Park on your right hand side. Coming from the West Coast take the Geelong Ring Road from the M1 and exit left at the Ballarat turnoff. Travel for 1km along the Midland Highway and turn right onto the Geelong-Ballan Road. Follow through to Fairy Park. Alternatively, from the M1 at Corio you can take the exit at Cox Road and join onto Anakie Road following it through to Anakie. The Geelong Ring Road also has an Anakie Road turnoff. Directions from Ballarat Fairy park is approximately 1 hour from Ballarat. Take the Western Highway or M8 towards Melbourne and take the Ballan exit. Follow the Geelong-Ballan Road through to Fairy Park. For directions from Bacchus Marsh Fairy Park is approximately 30 minutes from Bacchus Marsh. Take Grant street out from Bacchus Marsh leading onto the Bacchus Marsh-Geelong Road. Turn right onto Granite Road and follow the sign posts to Fairy Park. Public transport options Sadly, there is no public transport direct to Anakie. The closest railway station is Lara, on the Melbourne–Geelong line.
